In Love With The Idea

The idea is more appealing than the reality

It is elusive, fluffy, and perhaps endearing

The idea takes one into another plane of existence

Where reality doesn’t exist

The idea plants castles in the air

And takes one into a space that’s far away

Too far away

When the idea and reality co-mingle

Sadly, reality wins

The idea in its grand bubble burst into a million pieces

And fades reluctuantly

Waiting to find another opportunity to birth itself again

Hoping to get its chance at reality again
